
In what ended up as a spoof on the spy genre, a team of secret agents battling the global crime organization THRUSH. Under the aegis of the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.), the dapper, suave Napoleon Solo and the equally dashing Illya Kuryakin jet to exotic locations, defending the world from evil, chaos, and bad taste. The premise of most episodes revolved around the involvement of an "innocent": a non-spy caught up in the conflict between U.N.C.L.E. and their rival organization, Thrush.Premiering in 1964, this successful series also starred Leo G. Carroll as Alexander Waverly and featured guest stars such as William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, Kurt Russell as a young stowaway marked for murder, Ricardo Montalban and longtime comedy favorite Ken Murray. From trying to save the world from fear gas to trying to save themselves from a pack of bloodthirsty cheetahs, this spoof brings the spy game to life with vigor and vibrancy.

Thrush sends assassins after Waverly when he learns of an attempt on the life of a African dignitary. Napoleon thwarts the killers and heads out into the field with the ex-girlfriend of the industrialist, Andrew Vulcan, who is behind the attempt.

Solo investigates the curious death of an air force man in Iowa with scuba gear, and with the help of Jill Denison (Katherine Crawford) uncovers a plan by Clint Spinner (Slim Pickens) to steal a missile- plane from a secret base under a farm.

In Yugoslavia, Solo and Illya are aided by Marion Raven (Jill Ireland) in stopping Gervaise Ravel (Anne Francis) and her partners from using a fear gas to overthrow various governments. While two of them are captured, two of them escape, and the story continues in "The Giuoco Piano Affair"

Solo and Illya investigate a series of kidnappings that lead to a modern-day pirate ship run by Captain Shark (Robert Culp), who is filling his Noah's Ark with craftsmen from all walks of life to repopulate the world after the nuclear holocaust he feels is imminent. With the help of Harry Barnman (Herbert Anderson) and his wife Elsa (Sue Anne Langdon). Solo and Illya pose as shipwrecked sailors to in turn wreck his plans.

When a rare postage stamp at an auction reveals that a former SS scientist, Professor Amadeus, is still alive and experimenting with the secret of "suspended animation," Solo and Illya enlist the aid of college students Terry Brent (Brook Bundy) and Chuck Boskirk (Burt Brinckerhoff) to beat THRUSH agent Angelique (Janine Gray) to Amadeus's lab, where Solo is captured so his blood can be used to revive the suspended body of the Fuhrer.

In the Yucatan, THRUSH agent Walter Brach (Carroll O'Connor) brainwashes important people from many nations to be "time bombs" who will return to their jobs and do THRUSH's bidding. After eluding Brach's henchmen Chuke (Shuji J. Nozawa) and his leopards, Solo and housewife Chris Linnel (Joan O'Brien) enlist the aid of Mrs. Karda (Dovima), Brach's numerologist, to help them escape.



Solo and Illya use a complex deception to trap an evil diplomat.


Solo must prevent a war by learning who is responsible for launching fungus-spraying missiles that are destroying Russia's grain crop.

Thrush kills a scientist and his wife after the scientist develops a way to extract gold from seawater. However, the scientist sent the five parts of the formula to his five daughters. Illya and Napoleon team up with one of the daughters, Sandy, to find the other four step-daughters and recover the formula before Thrush does.

After escaping the crashing plane, Napoleon and Illya continue the hunt for for the gold extraction formula. However, they end up captured by Thrush and prepared for death.

Napoleon and Illya protect Waverly when he returns to his former college, Blair University, to receive an honorary degree. Thrush is eager to kill the division head when he's out in public.
Thrush is working with someone within the Tenza industrial empire to assassinate father Mark Tenza and his son Adam.

Illya and master safecracker Luther Sebastian infiltrate the laboratory of Dr. Kharmusi to steal a thermal prism, while Napoleon distracts the creator. However, the girlfriend of a man Lucius framed for murder is out for revenge.

Luther gains the thermal prism and plans to hijack a U.S. rocket to launch it into orbit as a blackmail weapon.

Pharos Mandor, a former Thrush director, plays Thrush off against U.N.C.L.E. by pretending to defect and provide U.N.C.L.E. with inside information... that discredits his rivals in Thrush.

The owner of a Caribbean casino, secretly a Thrush operative, uses the casino to brainwash his organization's enemies... and Illya is the next target.
