Overview
1921. Liza Zhuravleva was detained by the Cheka on charges of organizing the Yaroslavl rebellion. Investigator Voronov understands that in order to save her little son, Lisa will tell everything. Her testimony, in fact, turns out to be a love story against the backdrop of the First World War, revolution, and civil war. The historical meat grinder grinds Lisa's love for the poor cadet Sychev, her hatred for the dissolute captain Krushevsky, to whom she was forced to marry, completely changes the relationship between the heroes.
