"Yuanlai Family" is a 20-episode drama TV series jointly produced by Pacific Video, Guangzhou Qianqiu Film and Television, and Maiqing Guangming Advertising. The play was directed by Lu Lunchang, written by Zhang Huiping, and starred by Hu Bing, Li Ruotong, Zhou Xun, Lin Zhihao, Chen Long, Hao Lei, etc. It was broadcast on the Guangzhou TV Comprehensive Channel on August 22, 2000 [1]. The play tells the story of many tired hearts gathered under the same roof in Shanghai - the eldest brother Xu Hui who is burdened with the burden of life, Cai Jia who is hiding from creditors and looking for a husband thousands of miles away, the second brother Mo Chunsheng who is burning with the flame of revenge, the kind cousin Tao Tao, and the younger brother Xu Ming who cheats money to support his aunt. Faced with family ties and a series of grievances and resentments, Xu Hui began to make difficult life choices [1]. The Xu family originally lived a prosperous and happy life. Unexpectedly, a small mistake in Xu's father's life destroyed this happy family. It turns out that Xu's father had a romantic affair overnight in Taiwan.
