Overview
In April 2018, a female student joins the baseball club at Tochigi Prefectural Kanuma High School. Her name is Haruka Kawase (Akana Ikeda). When her best friend Mayu Mogi (Ayaka Konno) invites her to join the club and enjoy JK life, she refuses and joins the club as a player rather than a manager.For three years, she trains hard with the boys as the only female player in the prefecture. Haruka's position is second, the same as her classmate Harumichi Sonoda (Yoshiteru Fujieda). Without using the difference in physical strength or physique as an excuse, Haruka works hard to acquire the same skills as the boys, but no matter how much she improves, there is one thing she cannot do the same way as the boys. That is to dream of “Koshien”. This is because there is a strict rule in high school baseball that female players cannot participate in official games. And then came 2020. Shocking news hits Haruka and her friends who are now in their third year. The Koshien tournament is canceled for the first time since the war due to the coronavirus pandemic. Having lost their goal, Sonoda and his friends lose the will to even hold a bat. However, even during such times, Haruka continues to practice silently on her own. Sonoda and his friends realize for the first time that Haruka's situation is such that she has no goal of even playing in a game, let alone Koshien, and they wish to have Haruka on the stage of an official game, even if it is beyond the rules...
