Overview
Mercedes (Lília Cabral) is a middle-class woman, mother of two children and passionate about art. After being discharged from her old therapist and spending time away from therapy, Mercedes decides to return to the couch in search of new answers to her questions. Recently separated and with her children grown up, she gets involved with a married man, faces her son Bruno's (Duda Nagle) relationship with an older woman, and meets an old love from her high school days. He still decides to volunteer at a nursing home, discovering the power of true friendship. In this new phase of her life, Mercedes counts on fun tips from hairdresser Renê (Paulo Gustavo) and the support of her cool friend Tânia (Totia Meirelles), who advises her in the most adverse situations. Owner of a gallery, Tânia offers Mercedes the opportunity to exhibit her work.
