``Nodame Cantabile Final Movement'' is a Japanese film based on the manga ``Nodame Cantabile'' by Tomoko Ninomiya. It was produced in two parts as a sequel to the TV drama version. Following on from directing the drama version, the first part was directed by Hideki Takeuchi, and the second part was directed by Taisuke Kawamura, both of whom made their film directorial debuts. In terms of Japanese movie box office revenue for the first half of 2010, the first part came in second place and the second part came in third place. Filming took place not only in Japan but also overseas, including France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria. The new cast includes Shosuke Tanihara, Takeshi Nadagi (The Plan 9), and Chad Mullane, and many local actors have been hired to play foreign roles. The Lou Marle Orchestra is the Brno National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Beethoven Symphony No. 7 at the beginning of the movie, and the Haradets Philharmonic performs at the Musikverein. In addition to the Brno Philharmonic, members of the Hradec Králové Philharmonic Orchestra also collaborated as extras in the orchestral scenes. Similar to the drama, Nodame Orchestra also appeared as an extra member of the R☆S orchestra. Nodame's piano performance was performed by Chinese pianist Lang Lang.
