In the play, Xu Zheng plays Yao Xiang, a "foreigner" who comes to Beijing from Shanghai to make a living selling toilets. He is pragmatic in everything and dreams of being able to control everything. Zhang Yan plays the somewhat naive Beijing girl Lu Siman, who is a cello player in a band and loves to have wild fantasies. In order to prepare for an elegant and affordable wedding, they tried their best to save money, satisfied their vanity and fantasies, and also encountered disgrace. Meanwhile, their cliques and the "active interference" of their parents and brothers made everything even more chaotic...
