Four girls who graduated from military medical universities, full of yearning for love and career, went to their respective new worlds. They are Qiao Siyu (played by Wang Yan), Liu Sha (played by Liang Jing), Wang Xiaohui (played by Wang Zhihui) and Sun Wei (played by Chen Hongchi). Qiao Siyu admired Fang Zhiyuan (played by Sun Sihan), a surgeon at Nanjiang Hospital, and actually gave up the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate degree. She managed to get assigned to the trauma surgery department where Fang Zhiyuan worked and became a surgeon.
