Overview
Surgeon Sergei Ivanov comes to his native outback to visit his mother. He is handsome, gloomy, avoids communication with residents, but cannot refuse a person to provide emergency assistance. As it turns out, he was contrary to the law, since he was convicted and deprived of the right to engage in medical activities. His mother’s health leaves much to be desired, and Ivanov is forced to stay in the village, where for the next 120 km there are no hospitals or a functioning paramedic station.
