Frontier Circus is about Colonel Casey Thompson who runs a traveling one-ring circus in the Old West. The series shows Casey's weekly exploits as he tries to keep his circus going with the help of assistants Ben Travis and Tony Gentry.
The Durando sisters, and one sister's husband Paco, join the circus but rivalries and jealousies within the trio threaten to tear them apart before they can get their big break.
Casey rides back to the circus with his newest acquisition, a prized chimp, but is unaware that it may have bubonic plague.
