Overview
The novel "Begonia", known as "the first romance novel of the Republic of China" and the "first tragedy" of old China, is undoubtedly a classic of romance novels in the history of modern Chinese literature. The original story of the novel is a news incident in which famous Peking opera artists Liu Hanchen and Gao Yukui in Tianjin during the warlord period were persecuted to death by the warlord Chu Yupu.
