
The lifeless body of a child is found in the Venice Lagoon. To shed light on the case is the assistant commissioner Elena Zonin, an expert in computer crimes and pedophilia on the net, who for the occasion returns to her hometown. There she finds Daniele, her childhood love, now a policeman, and his wife Giulia, once a great friend of hers. Between dense mysteries and memories of the past, Elena ends up uncovering a network involving influential and unsuspected people.

A child's body is found in the lagoon with rocks in his backpack. Is it death by suicide? Most of the local cops think so but Elena Zonin, called to the case from Rome, has other ideas.

Elena is not trusted at headquarters in Venice as many years ago she took a dangerous risk. Another child has been dangerously drawn in.
