The story of the rise of the French far right just before the Second World War (1935 to 1939) following the Salmon family of which François is the founder of “Automobiles Salmon”. François is sensitive to the ideas of the “Cagoule” which he joins in opposition to the Popular Front. Anti-Semites and anti-communists, they are trying to organize a plot aimed at overthrowing the Republic with, they hope, the support of the army. But the plot was discovered and the Minister of the Interior, Marx Dormoy, revealed its existence to the press. No one will come out of history unscathed…
