The world is yours is a television entertainment program designed and presented by Jacques Martin between 1987 and 1997 on the Antenne 2 channel (which became France 2 in 1992). It followed the show Tout le Monde le sais (1985-1986) in the Dimanche Martin segment. There were three candidates who had to answer questions on multiple topics: the one with the most points won the trip of their choice. There were all types of variety, French and international songs but also classical music. And quite frequently Jacques Martin performed a song that recalled the time of his youth (he was 55 years old in 1988). This show was replaced in September 1997 by Under Your Applause.
