On the eve of the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, spies in the mountainous city of Chongqing, shrouded in white terror, arrested Communist Party members on a large scale. This place has become a den for underground workers of our party. In a remote alley, a woman in her fifties knocked on the door. A hand stretched out from the door and grabbed her in. She is Song Huaizhen, the new deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Chongqing District, and the person who arrested her is Wang Xinmin, the captain of the Party Communications Bureau. Although Song Huaizhen was tortured, it was a blessing in disguise that he found his long-lost eldest son Lin Xiaocheng here.
