Overview
The story takes place during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. The highly respected Chu Liuxiang (played by Zhu Xiaotian) comes to Yunlai Inn to look for the most beautiful girl in the world, Chisu. Also at the inn are Zuo Youzheng and Ximen Qian, who are the leaders of various sects, and Prince Zhamuhe of Qiuci. Disaster struck suddenly, and all the people in the inn died of poisoning from the "Tianyi Divine Water". Gong Nanyan of Shenshui Palace identified Chu Liuxiang as the mastermind behind the incident. In order to clear his innocent grievances and avenge Yu Chisu, Chu Liuxiang began to investigate the truth of the incident. In the process, Chu Liuxiang met Su Rongrong (played by Hu Jing) who also wanted to avenge his father Jamuka. In the process of jointly searching for clues, Su Rongrong gradually fell in love with the romantic and suave Chu Liuxiang. However, Chu Liuxiang's heart was in love with Lin Niang (played by Choo Ja Hyun). Little did he know that Lin Niang hid an amazing secret behind her chivalrous tenderness.
