Overview
14 years ago, a man who quit his job as a lawyer because he was unable to clear a suspect's false accusation due to his own incompetence, begins to investigate the truth of the case once again. Ryutaro Tachibana is a former lawyer who lives a different life despite being traumatized. A hit-and-run incident occurs right in front of him. Surprisingly, the victim was a former suspect who had been released from prison after serving time for the incident. Ryutaro decides to take a fresh look at the case and visits his old colleagues and prosecutor. Then, there was a "testimony" that had been overlooked at the time... Eisaku Yoshida plays Ryutaro, who quit his job as a lawyer and now works at a road construction site. Tsuyoshi Kato plays the amazing prosecutor who confronts Ryutaro in court and puts him in a difficult situation. The breathtaking bargaining between the two is a big highlight.
