Overview
The Zhou sisters Xu Yanxiang (played by Yuan Mei) and Zhou Biying (played by Zhang Qing) are sisters who have been separated since childhood. Xu Yanxiang lived among the people and lived a hard life, while Zhou Biying became a smash hit female star after receiving education abroad. Each of the sisters owns a jade pendant that can be spliced together to form a complete pattern. The Zhou family has a very loyal butler who has served the Zhou family for many years. The second wife of the Zhou family was Zhou Biying's biological mother. In order to fight for the inheritance, she falsely accused the eldest wife of having an adulterous relationship with the housekeeper, claiming that Xu Yanxiang was an illegitimate child. Mr. Zhou fell into the trap and wrote a will leaving all his property to the second wife and driving away the housekeeper, eldest daughter and eldest wife. The second wife immediately plotted with her lover to kill Mr. Zhou, but before his death, Mr. Zhou modified his will, invalidating the original will and leaving the inheritance to his two daughters. In order to take out the inheritance, they must join two jade pendants together.
