Overview
The play revolves around a poignant love story, telling the story of the protagonist Teng Hao who fights for justice to save himself when he encounters misfortune designed by his friends. In the autumn of 1994, Teng Hao, the young and promising finance minister of Dadong Group, was detained by the police on the eve of his upcoming wedding. A huge sum of 5.95 million yuan from the group was withdrawn using a transfer check. Teng Hao, who was in charge of the group's financial seal, was suspected of embezzlement and theft. Policeman Jia Chaoxi cleared away the fog and gradually targeted young entrepreneur Shi Zheming and Teng Hao's classmate Zhuang Hai. Just as the investigation was underway, Shi Zheming was burned to death in his home, and Zhuang Hai, who was suspected of murder, disappeared with a huge sum of money from fraud...
