One day in the summer of 1846, a dozen disheveled and exhausted people came ashore on the coast of Macau. They are Savard and his entourage who have just been appointed governor of Macau by the Queen of Portugal and have just experienced a shipwreck. Suddenly, a group of men masked in black cloth, armed with bows and swords, couldn't help but snatch away most of the opium they were carrying and the suitcase containing the Queen's letter of appointment, and walked away. It turned out that they met Du Hailong, a famous pirate in Macau. Shavad was furious and vowed to take revenge after taking office. After landing, they found themselves in a Chinese fishing village. There was a noise coming from a courtyard. They heard the sound and went looking for it. On this day, Lin Chunfang, the head of Wangxia Village in Macau, was celebrating the 18th birthday of his youngest son A Ming. His eldest son Lin Weiliang and his fiancée Shui Lian helped organize the event. The scene was lively. In the midst of the joy, Carlos, a subordinate of Savard, led the Portuguese soldiers in and arbitrarily searched for the stolen opium and suitcases. There was a fierce conflict between the two sides. A Ming ran out to report to Wang Tao, an official of the Qing government stationed in the Wangxia Yamen Office, for help, but he never came back and disappeared mysteriously... This is a little-known, tragic and tragic story that happened in Macau in 1849.
