Overview
The story begins in the 1970s. The young and beautiful educated youth Han Xinxin (played by Wang Ji) and the fellow educated youth Ding Jianjun (played by Shi Liang) fall in love while working. Soon, the two publicly declare their love. Unfortunately, the good times did not last long. Ding Jianjun died young and Xinxin was so sad that she returned to Beijing alone. Not long after returning to Beijing, she met Lin Aqiang, a Chinese-American, and the two flew across the Atlantic to San Francisco, USA. Unexpectedly, Aqiang got involved in a local gang and was shot dead by the gang in a firefight. Xinxin decided to avenge her husband and found the gang leader Louis and got rid of his enemy Huang Si. Xinxin felt the thrill of revenge and fell into the abyss unknowingly. A few years later, she actually took the position of leader of the local "Sanyi Gang" and became the famous eldest sister in the gang. Just when she was getting carried away, the Chinese and American police had locked her in...
