The story begins from mythology. The Fire Dragon God was reincarnated into the Zhu family, and his family named him Chongba, who later became Zhu Yuanzhang (played by Ho Chia-jin). The Millennium Turtle was reincarnated as Chen Youliang (played by Li Zhixi). Both of them fell in love with their junior sister Peiyao (played by Tianxin). Zhu Chongba met Ma Xiuying (played by Su Yijing), and relied on the power of Ma Jiajun to fight with Chen Youliang's team to fight against the remaining forces of the Yuan Dynasty. In the end, with the help of his generals Xu Da (Song Damin) and Chang Yuchun (Ding Yangguo), Zhu Chongba won the final victory and married Ma Xiuying. Princess Mingxia left the Central Plains after giving birth to their children, and lovers were not allowed to stay together.
