Overview
It was 1943. The ancient land of China was ravaged by the iron hoofs of foreign powers, and the arduous Anti-Japanese War also reached a critical moment of life and death. The ancient town of Changde occupies an important military position in the fight between you and me. Around this virtue, a bloody and tragic storm is coming. The stoic and low-key He Pingan (played by Zhong Hanliang) appears to be a small policeman in Changde, but in fact he is an underground worker installed by our party in this town. The heavy Japanese invaders are gradually approaching, coupled with the corrupt officials filling their own pockets and a large number of bandits looting and causing nuisance, Changde is in danger and the city is about to be destroyed.
