Suzuki Rin, a 14-year-old girl, comes to Tokyo from inner Kyoto with the phantom sword Gassan in her hand in order to escape from her Kyohachi style master Azami. Rin tries to visit the beautiful Miho Kuon, who runs a detective agency with whom she has a connection with her older brother Tetsuto, but learns that someone is targeting Miho. Meanwhile, upon receiving a request from Daizo Minagawa, a man who is aiming for Miho's life, puppeteer Tatsuya Mikado uses his skills to create a puppet that closely resembles Miho and tries to set a trap.

Overview
