Overview
The story of a young budding doctor, Petr Oberuč. Peter, who joined the hospital in a small town, has the paralyzed Mrs. Karla transferred from the nursing home to the hospital. In desperation, she asks him to give her an injection that would end her suffering. She still thinks about her son Rudo, whose photo she always carries with her. Peter decides to find Rudo and when he succeeds, he has a hard time convincing him to visit his mother who didn't raise him. Finally, after sharp reproaches from the mayor, Rudo takes his mother home.
