Overview
The main story of the play is that in 1914, the Tang De encountered pirates on its way to the ocean. The second mate Bai Zhusheng struggled to save the Englishman Kent and the orphan Chen Xiaoxi, but he did not know that everything was planned by the first mate Li Yingzhao and others for the sake of wealth and death. The surviving Bai Zhusheng was framed as a pirate accomplice and imprisoned, leading to the death of his family and the death of his fiancée Xing Yueqiu.
