Overview
After Hong Kong returned to the motherland, Li Guokai (Zheng Shaoqiu), president of Rongkai Group, was reunited with his brother Li Guorong (Jiao Huang) in Beijing. Because they had been living under different social systems and had different world outlooks and outlooks on life, the two brothers soon had friction. After the outbreak of the Asian financial crisis, Li Guokai's career suffered a heavy blow. His second son Li Mingjie (played by Lin Shen) broke up with his father and his business went bankrupt.
