Overview
"Taihang Mountain" is a war historical drama produced by Yanzhao Zhonghe Culture Media. Directed by Li Wei, written by Wang Chaozhu, starring Tang Guoqiang, Liu Jin, Wang Wufu, Ma Xiaowei, Zhang Zaixin and others. The play was broadcast on CCTV Comprehensive Channel on August 4, 2015. The play mainly tells the story of how Liu Bocheng, Deng Xiaoping and their comrades led the 129th Division into the Taihang Mountains during the arduous War of Resistance Against Japan, carried out flexible guerrilla warfare in mountains and plains, deeply mobilized the masses, united all anti-Japanese forces, completely defeated the Japanese invading army, and smashed the Kuomintang's stubborn army's attack on the liberated areas. In February 2017, the drama won the 11th TV Production Industry "Outstanding TV Series" Award.
