Overview
The story takes place in the 1970s. Fenghuang Town is located at the foot of Fenghuang Mountain. It is a paradise filled with tranquility and serenity. The innocent and kind-hearted He Sanmei (played by Lian Shumei) fell in love with Li Daqing (played by Li Jian) who worked in the ideological propaganda team, and the two fell in love and soon came together. However, this relationship was smeared into "adultery" by Yang Doujin (played by Liu Tingzuo), who had been secretly in love with He Sanmei. He Sanmei was severely punished by the organization and was sent to a remote Hedong primary school to teach. Later, Yang Doujin deceived again, causing a misunderstanding between He Sanmei and Li Daqing. At this time, Yang Doujin took advantage of the situation and deceived the naive He Sanmei into becoming his bride.
