Overview
Fujisawa Konatsu (Tanaka Rena) comes to a workshop in the mountains of Gifu Prefecture to become an apprentice to a master of Arimatsu shibori. The condition for becoming an apprentice to his master Reiko (Kumiko Akiyoshi) is that he must take care of a protected dog. Konatsu, who hates dogs, receives guidance on how to raise dogs from a veterinarian, Kotaro (Eisaku Yoshida). However, Kotaro was actually Reiko's lover. At that moment, Konatsu's father, Tatsuzo (Noshimura Kobayashi), who once took a lover and abandoned his family, suddenly appears in front of Konatsu. A story that gives courage and inspiration to women living today, about the swaying human relationships between women and men, the broken bond between parent and child and its rebirth, and the discovery of true love.
