Overview
Fellow disciples Emperor Baosheng (played by Zheng Shaoqiu) and Lord Wen (played by Chunyu Shanshan) have been fighting for thousands of years. The defeated Lord Wen instigated the gods to complain to the Jade Emperor, listing various "crimes" of Emperor Baosheng, and the Jade Emperor (played by Wang Xinmin) ) was so furious that he threw Emperor Baosheng into the mortal world and gave him an incredible task: to train a medical officer with bad conduct into a famous doctor, otherwise he would not be allowed to return to heaven for the rest of his life. As a result, Emperor Baosheng fell into decline and became Wu Kui, a folk doctor. However, Wu Kui, who was highly skilled in medicine and full of wisdom, won the favor of Sanhong (played by Liao Jiayi), a fisherman girl. Black Dragon (played by Wang Can) and White Tiger (played by Chen Jiajia), who were framed by the Plague King and were demoted to earth, also formed an alliance with Wu Ben and stayed with him.
