Grandfather Slava tells Anna and Jean how he realized Mila's true identity. Usachev understands less and less what is happening to Anna. Olga falls asleep for the first time in 100 years.
Mila says that she was not involved in the deaths of two people and admits that she is a vampire on the run from the Urals. Olga shares her fears and worries with the caretaker Grisha. Anna's complicated story forces Usachev to take her hair for a DNA test.
