The gala to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland is one of the activities organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the People's Republic of China. It is hosted by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and organized by Television Broadcasting Company Limited. It is hosted by Wang Mingquan, Chen Beier and Luk Haoming. More than 700 people were mobilized to participate in the performance. It was originally scheduled to be held at 8:00 pm on July 1, 2022 at the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hung Hom. However, due to the impact of Typhoon Siam, it was changed to a video broadcast. It was the first handover celebration gala without guests and audiences. The rehearsal version that was broadcast that night was recorded one day in advance.
