More than 80% of the photographs and films (found in, among others, France, Germany, Russia, the USA, Ukraine and Poland) have never been shown to a wider audience. Together they create a story about the fate of the Republic of Poland in the years 1914–1923, starting from the fratricidal fights of World War I, to the battles for the borders, the Greater Poland and Silesian uprisings, the Polish-Bolshevik war, plebiscites and the formation of the reborn statehood.
