Winter Under the Table is a French play by Roland Topor, created in September 1994 at the National Theater in Mannheim, Germany. It was then performed in the Netherlands in 1952 and then in Poland in 1963. At the Théâtre Flamand in Brussels, in 1974, Topor himself directed and created the set and costumes. Topor thus deals with immigration and exclusion with humor... After his death the play was performed in Paris. Revised in 2004, it triumphed at the Théâtre de l'Atelier in Paris, in a production by Zabou Breitman, with Isabelle Carré and Dominique Pinon in the main roles.
