Overview
We are in Turin in 1939. Pablo is handsome and young and loves to play the guitar and for this reason he is much sought after by all the boys and girls. He is not interested in social problems or politics. Through his friend Aurelio, who was left paralyzed in his legs due to an accident, he meets the beautiful Linda and falls in love with her. After the first meetings Linda suddenly disappears. Pablo, in love, searches for her and finds her with a man: Carletto, a handsome actor but with a hunchback. For a while the two lovers continue to meet by frequenting a club, "Il Mascherino" where prostitutes and magicians work.
