Narrated by François Morel. In East Africa, not far from Kilimanjaro, a little elephant takes her first faltering steps. Mired in the mud, the elephant drags her paw. Her mother, a young and still inexperienced mother, turns out to be as clumsy as she is. Fortunately, the grandmother, like a matriarch with an iron paw, intervenes and uses all her experience and authority over her descendants. Elsewhere, in Greenland, it is not a question of learning to walk, but of learning to fall. Nestled at the top of a cliff, five barnacle geese must, in fact, launch themselves into the void. Small size problem: the baby birds don't yet know how to fly. But here it is: 120 meters below is the grass necessary for their survival. In Hawaii, whales are preparing to head back to the Far North.
