The following year Ghezzi and De André were kidnapped for extortion by the anonymous Sardinian company and released after four months. As is known, the experience will give life to the untitled album known as L'indiano (1981), written with Massimo Bubola, in which the singer-songwriter returns to that episode through metaphors, drawing a parallel between the locals and the Native Americans.
