The wanderer Didi is the helper of an orchestra for underprivileged children called "Som na Lata", directed by Miguel and Clarinha. Needing financial help to obtain new instruments and thus participate in a famous competition, the group receives help from the mysterious businessman Nicolau and his clumsy wife Dolores, and Nicolau ends up becoming interested in Miguel's medallion. Meanwhile, Didi shelters smart little Tita, who is actually her guardian angel. The bumbler also receives a visit from the Goddess Sólaris and she says that Didi will have the mission of keeping open a gate that connects earthly residents and angels and whose main opening object is Miguel's medallion. To protect the object from the evil Nicolau and help the angels, Didi, together with Miguel, will have the help of Tita, Clarinha, Dolores of the Goddess Sólaris and the grumpy Mexican Gonzales, the only one who knows all the secrets about the angels, but always forgets things.
