Overview
Six semi-failed actors are invited by a friend to spend some time in a castle under the pretext of celebrating a birthday. Alessio, the host, declares that with that invitation he wanted to make amends for an old wrong, but there is a strong suspicion that the purpose is different. The whole truth has not been told. Benvenuti with Alberto Ongaro, it is an ambitious film, almost a summa of his previous cinema, but it fails to fully translate into results the intentions of combining the spectator's emotional involvement with Brecht's lesson of estrangement.
