Originally made on video in 1994, "A New Day Yesterday" is a 90-minute documentary that celebrates the first quarter of a century of Jethro Tull, with Ian Anderson the only remaining musician from the original lineup (guitarist Martin Barre actually joined the band for the release of the second album). This real "reunion party" sees them reunite with many other old and new members of Tull, with the aim of celebrating the anniversary of a legend, sharing their memories in very interesting interviews. The DVD also contains concert performances and video clips taken mainly from the most successful period for the band, when the albums "Aqualung", "Thick as a Brick" and "Songs from the Wood" from the 1970s were influenced by medieval motifs and the band members often went on stage dressed as minstrels.
