"Jochen Rindt's Last Summer" tells of the sensational career of the Formula 1 driver who was born in Mainz and grew up in Austria. Previously unknown film material from Nina Rindt's private archive will be shown for the first time together with image treasures from the archives of ARD, ORF and ZDF and the course of the tragic accident will be reconstructed in a 3D animation. Contemporary witnesses and companions such as Jacky Ickx, Niki Lauda, Bernie Ecclestone, Herbie Blash, Heinz Prüller, Helmut Zwickl, Erich Walitsch and many others remember the man and racing driver Jochen Rindt.
