Overview
This is the second installment in the series following the 2021 human comedy ``End of life, ripe spring! How to spend your life in the 100-year era'', which tells the story of the joys and sorrows of a middle-aged couple with the theme of ``end of life''. Chikako Ohara and Shinichi celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The only daughter, Aya, has changed her job from running a kitchen truck to becoming a nutritionist at a high-end nursing facility, and is about to get married to her boyfriend, Ryota Kanno. Things were going smoothly for the Ohara family, but one day, suspicions arose that Shinichi had dementia. Meanwhile, Chikako begins taking lessons again after meeting Hanae Maruyama, the daughter of her chanson teacher from when she was young. Chikako is enthusiastic about being invited to perform at a concert by Hanae, who is also a live music producer, but right before the concert, the event is in jeopardy... In addition to the previous cast members, including Junko Takahata as Chikako, Isao Hashizume as Shinichi, and Ayame Goriki as Aya, new additions include Kyozo Nagatsuka, Kaname Oki, and Kon Omura. Following the previous work, Hideyuki Kazuki directed and wrote the screenplay.
