Overview
Company employee Kohei Kagiyama (Ayumu Mochizuki) decides to appear on ``Nandemo Appraisal Group'' with the companionship of his childhood friend Shiori Tokura (Wakana Aoi), who found a ``painting by Iemitsu Tokugawa'' in her house. However, on the day of the recording, something strange happened in the dressing room... An old man who looks like an appraiser (Kotaro Satomi) suddenly appears and praises the painting, saying, ``This is an authentic handwriting.'' When he looked at their faces, he began to tell a story about a sad love story related to a painting. The time is the Edo period. At the castle, young Tokugawa Iemitsu (Ayumu Mochizuki) starts saying things like, ``I'm not worthy of being a shogun.I'd rather be a fishmonger than live in such a cramped situation,'' which causes problems. Therefore, Hikozaemon Okubo (Kotaro Satomi), the teacher in charge of education, comes up with a plan and decides to entrust Iemitsu to Isshin Tasuke (Masanobu Takashima) and Onaka (Naho Toda), a fishmonger couple in the town who he is close friends with, and has him train under false pretenses. Meanwhile, Iemitsu meets Osen (Wakana Aoi), a town girl who aspires to become a doctor, and they eventually fall in love, but in the midst of all this, an assassination plot for the next shogun is hatched!
